THIS WEEK // I often struggle with how much to sha THIS WEEK // I often struggle with how much to share on social media - I’m a very private person and don’t even share a great deal on our personal account. But did you ever have one of those weeks where you sit two exams, a friend dies (in another country, no less, so no chance of going to the funeral) and your income is reduced by 1/3 and you move house in 7 days? That’s been our week. The magazine is coming, but at a slower pace than usual. And that’s okay, right? Because sometimes we need to stop lurching from one stressful event to the other and leave some space to feel all the things. Those of you raising families cross-culturally know all about that (or if you don’t, you will!) Thanks in advance for your patience. .
The photo is of the creek near our house. It’s so peaceful and I am so thankful. 🙏🏼
KIDS MAKE || @lagringadani and her daughters made KIDS MAKE || @lagringadani and her daughters made these tasty treats for the birds in their garden. If you want to attract some birds to your garden, here's what you'll need to make your own:
string, empty toilet paper roll, peanut butter, bird seed, plastic knife/spatula, plate.
1. Tie string through middle of toilet paper.
2. Use a plastic knife or spatula to cover the outside of the toilet paper roll with peanut butter.
3. Pour some bird seed on the plate and roll the peanut butter covered TP roll until its covered with seeds
4. Hang outside for birdies to eat!
We hope your feathered friends enjoy their new snacks!
