B at Home: Emma Moves Again by Valerie Besanceney is about a girl who moves a lot. At first its hard for her to move but then she makes new friends and settles in. I can relate to Emma because at first I didn’t want to move but then I settled in and made friends. The story is also told from the point of view of her bear, B, which makes it original. B at Home also talks about homesickness and Emma’s relationship with her parents in positive ways. I like how the author knew what she was writing about. She wasn’t just making things up. I would recommend this book to third culture kids aged 7+.
