What do The Croods have in common with giraffes and oxpeckers? You’ll want to read the Reviews By You section of the next issue of the magazine! There are only a few days until the {Together} issue is released, but here’s a sneak peak from our TCK reviews, by Jeremias Lugo in Spain:

The Croods is a funny movie about a family of cavemen who have to go to another place. That is how my life used to be: I have lived in 7 different places in 13 years and I have left everything I knew 7 times. And it is just like The Croods: they left the place that they lived in for so many years and go to an entirely new place.

In the journey they learned a lot, they discovered new places, new things, new characters and most importantly how to work together as a family team. It sounds nice and beautiful but that doesn’t mean that they didn’t have problems! Because they tried to solve problems the way they knew how and it didn’t work, in the end they learned to adapt to their new surroundings.

The lessons of the movie are: first, that even if you leave everything that you know and the journey is hard, things are going to work out at the end. Second you will meet new people, places and new things. And the last but not least, the importance of family, because no matter where you go, the only thing you always have is family.

To celebrate Jeremias’ insightful conclusion, ‘No matter where you go, the only thing you always have is family,’ we have created a series of printables for you! They are free, just add them to your cart, checkout, and you’ll be given the link to download the PDFs.
